STEM Family Fun

STEM Family Fun is focused on project based learning challenges. Teams in our STEM clubs have built magnet car raceways, cardboard arcade games, kites, electric toys, and several other projects. Each PBL challenge uses the Engineering Design process and lasts about six weeks.

We started STEM Family Fun because many of the elementary students we worked with in Sunday School had very little exposure to project based learning. Our goal was to present real-world challenges that could exercise the kids’ imagination and develop skills and understanding about the way things worked.
